STEP ONE:

• Start thinking about which Spanish immersion program appears to be the best fit for you.

Additional Information: Some people know exactly where they want to go and what they want to do. That's great! However, some have no idea. Take your time. Read through our website to understand what we have to offer and which activities appeal to you. There is definitely something for everyone!

STEP TWO

Contact Us

• Fill out the preliminary application to get the ball rolling.

Additional Information: We look forward to receiving your email or phone call (1.800.669.9685). Our goal is to make this process a smooth and easy one. Our staff has participated in immersion education, and we all speak foreign languages. Each Affiliate Spanish Language School has been personally visited and evaluated by a Spanish Por Favor representative.

STEP THREE

"Quick Painless Survey" (qps)

• Take the QPS, which will help you explore and understand what you really want out of YOUR Spanish immersion program. Your answers will allow us to customize a Spanish immersion program to fit your needs, goals and preferences.

Additional Information: We will email you the QPS as soon as you contact us. After we analyze your QPS responses, we will pin-point two Spanish immersion programs that most closely align with your specific needs. Currently we have Spanish immersion programs in four countries and in over eight cities in Latin America and Spain.

STEP FOUR

Now it's “Decision Time”

• Participate in a one-on-one phone conversation with an SPF Travel Executive. He or she will answer all of your questions and help you decide on the best Spanish immersion program for you.

Additional Information: At this time, we will offer our recommendations and answer each and every one of your questions. After this initial consultation, you will receive, via snail mail, additional information about the program of choice. You will also need to return a signed application before your date of departure. Please feel free to call us at 1.800.699.9685 throughout this process. We are here for you!

STEP FIVE

• Pay the preliminary deposit and the one-time enrollment fee of $99/person.

Additional Information: You can pay with PayPal, credit card, personal check, or money order. It must clear before your date of departure. At this point, you should have your flight information. If not, you must have it at least one-week prior to departure. On the first day of classes, you must pay the remaining balance.

STEP SIX

• Receive (via email) educational resources and detailed information about your customized Spanish immersion program.

Additional Information: We will email you: your homestay contact information, hotel or apartment details, travel arrangements from airport, local and cultural issues, safety and embassy information, summary of courses and excursion choices, remaining balance due upon arrival to the school, additional information about the country and cultural activities, travel and foreign language articles, and information about what to expect and how to prepare for your trip.

STEP SEVEN

• We will "check-in" with you. While abroad, you will receive multiple phone calls to assess your experience and manage any issues that may arise.

Additional Information: We have a clean record of safety and have not had any major issues since sending our first client abroad in 2004. When we call you we will ask about your overall experience. At this time, clients can address any safety, health, or general concerns they may be having. Spanish Por Favor is your personal advocate. We are here for you!

STEP EIGHT

• Welcome home! Receive your free Spanish Por Favor gift after completing our satisfaction questionnaire.

Additional Information: All SPF clients can earn a refer-a-friend bonus and a 15% discount on any future travel with Spanish Por Favor or any Think Abroad immersion program. You are encouraged to write a short testimonial about your experiences to share with others on our website.
