Colonia La Condesa, the neighborhood where the school is located, has modernized, developed and beautified remarkably in the last few years. The neighborhood is home to over 100 new restaurants, bars and cafes, as well as bookstores, boutiques, internet cafes and houseware stores. This area of Mexico City is quite safe and comfortable for foreigners. Mostly youthful, many of the La Condesa’s residence are: actors; painters and writers; journalists; models and their agents; graphic designers, foreigners, and people in advertising. La Condesa has been compared to SoHo in New York City or to the Barrio Latino in Paris. At La Condesa’s center are two of Mexico City’s loveliest parks (Parque Mexico and Parque España), tranquil tree-lined streets and many charming examples of Art Deco architecture. So after class, students are just a short distance to beautiful parks and places to relax and enjoy the natural environment. Spanish School environment
